Happy Monday friends. I just realized that I didn't post at all last week...unintentionally. Where does time go? The good news about me not posting is that I have been a busy little bee at work. My current position is transitioning- I am shedding a few of my current responsibilities and adding more valuable projects under the direction of Finance and the CFO! I couldn't be more excited to embark on this new journey that will surely look great on my resume.
I have also been spending some quality time with the hubby. Here are just a few of the mini dates we have been on in the past two weeks:
Riverdogs Game
My company sponsors a sky box at the Riverdogs Stadium. Each division has the opportunity to take advantage of these amazing seats, the food, and game once a year. Two Saturdays ago, we had our chance and the experience was nothing less than fantastic. The hot dogs and hamburgers were on point, the breeze was perfect, and it was all around a great night for baseball!
Car Shopping
It's official...I have car fever and I am in love with the New Ford Explorers. I test drove one a few weeks ago, and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. Bradley and I both agree that this will be a great car for when we start having kids. I'm sure in a few weeks, there will be a post on my new car...hopefully!
Movies
We finally took the time to go see the box office hit, Ted. This movie was hilarious- crass, but hilarious! Mark Wahlberg was the perfect actor to play alongside Seth MacFarlane as a teddy bear. Definitely an adult must see!
What have you guys been up to? I'm headed over to check out your new posts as well!

We saw Ted this weekend too and Nick loved it! We saw a guy come in with two younger kids and they quickly left about 15 minutes in. :) How gorgeous is Mila Kunis?!
Congrats on the job transition!
My husband and I are IN-LOVE with the new Explorers, too! I saw them last year and have been eyeing them ever since. Unfortunately, we'll wait until we need a "baby car". I can still dream though!
I also looked at the new explorer when car shopping but decided to go with the Nissan Rogue. The local ford dealerships have been just awful to work with and both of my parent's new ford have had transmission problems.
Sky box! Ah, jealous! Looks like such a great time.
And I can't wait to see Ted! It looks so funny!

Our neighbors just got a new Ford Explorer and they love it! I think it would be the perfect car for you guys. If you're still looking though, I would have to recommend the GMC Acadia - we got one last year with a growing (hopefully one day soon) family (plus a dog) in mind and LOVE it! PS: Does this mean you guys are talking babies anytime soon? Exciting!:)
Glad you've been enjoying your summer! We have the Greenville Drive uphere and we play the Riverdogs all next week :-)
It looks like y'all have been having some pretty amazing date nights. I can't wait to see Ted, especially after your positive review!
Sounds like you had a great time test driving, Amanda. I will wait for the pictures of your new car. A Ford Explorer is a good choice for starting families since it is spacious enough to accommodate up to seven people. You, your husband, and your future kids will surely have a great time during your road trips.
Ernest Houston
I agree with the views of Ernest. Ford Explorer is a good vehicle for starting families. Aside from its spacious perimeter, it also has a powerful engine that can allow you to travel to distant places. Surely, your kids will have a good time playing inside this spacious car while traveling. Traffic jam can also be playing time for your kids if they ride on a spacious vehicle like this.

Great post. I love when I fall in love with a car. My car just broke down and I am going to buick in grand rapids to see what they have. I really hope I get that feeling about a car. I don't want to just buy one because I need it, I want to love it. Thanks for sharing!
