What I'm Loving Wednesday

I thought I would share with you a few of my most recent online purchases that I am excited about!

I am head over heels in love with this necklace.  I received it in the mail yesterday and immediately put it on!  The best part is I ordered mine on eBay for $15, shipping included!  Thanks to all the bloggers who took the plunge before I did.  I have to admit I was a little nervous considering it came from China.  I'm happy to report it is in great condition and around my neck today!

I ordered these curtains last night while perusing the Target website.  Yes, we've been in our home for over a year, and no I still haven't purchased curtains for our living room.  I've been waiting for the right inspiration, and I think this color is just what that room needs to brighten it up!  Pics to come soon.

I also ordered this coverlet last night from Target.  I've been wanting a new one for our bed, and to move ours into the guest bedroom.  The one currently in the guest bedroom is from when I was in college and has seen better days.  I plan to find a printed throw for the bottom of our bed as well!

I'm usually not a big online shopper as I like to check the items out in person before purchasing, but with the deal I got on the necklace and free shipping from Target, you just can't pass up the opportunity!

I Must Confess....

It's Friday and the truth shall set you free!
Link up and share your confessions at A Blonde Ambition.

1.  I love being spoiled!  My sweet hubby brought me "just because" roses on Monday.  When I came in the door, they were there waiting with my favorite candy!

2.  My friend Maureen and I made the best homemade pizza I have ever had this week!  We literally threw together what was in both of our refrigerators and it made the best concoction- a little ricotta, turkey pepperoni, spinach, pizza sauce, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and italian shredded cheese.  And I won't lie...my leftover piece the next day was even better than the first go round!

3.  On the way to a baseball game Wednesday evening, Bradley and I caught a glimpse of this license plate. It made us chuckle...A LOT!  If only you could have seen the driver.

4.  After two weeks of my cleanse diet, I think I officially ruined it yesterday.  I had a Five Guys little bacon cheeseburger and half of a regular fry for lunch.  So bad, but oh so good!

5.  It's amazing how a new pair of shoes on Friday can make you feel like a brand new woman!

So what's up with you this week?  What do you have to confess?!

Our Big Day: Engagement Pictures

I am so excited to be starting a week long recap of the best day of my life.  A year ago today, it was the eve of our wedding.  I was busy prepping and making last minute adjustments, rehearsing, and partaking in a little fellowship with friends and family.  I look back and am surprised by how calm and collected I was, and just ready to spend the rest of my life with my love.

After Bradley proposed, I remember making a priority list for the big day.  Photography was on the top of that list.  It was imperative that I had a wonderful photographer to capture the memories that would be made.  I took one look at a few pictures from a fellow college student and knew at that moment who I wanted.  Abby Funderburk, owner of Abby Funderburk Photography, has an indescribable eye for unique and beautiful photography. She lived up to every expectation I had from engagement pictures to bridal portraits and full day wedding coverage.

I am pleased to start off the week of recaps with a few from our engagement shoot taken downtown Charleston in July of 2010.  We had a blast roaming the streets with talented Abby.

We started the afternoon at Peninsula Grill- the very place we got engaged.

Then, found our way to the corner of Market and Meeting Street.

We found some beautiful flowers....

...and even the perfect alley!

(this one is hanging in our bedroom as a canvas...LOVE)

The fountain was the perfect spot for our announcement photo.

My gorgeous ring!

Friday Confessions

Confessions are fun!  Linking up with A Blonde Ambition again this Friday :)

(1)  I am going to see The Vow tonight with a few girlfriends and I don't think I have been this excited about a premiere EVER.  I'm preparing for the tears, but I know that anything with Channing Tatum or Rachel McAdams in it is going to be good!

(2)  I went to my first ever beer tasting last night at my Barre instructor's home.  Her and her boyfriend hosted a fun, casual night for our work out class that consisted of five craft beers.  I must say, I have never really drank craft beer before, but I really enjoyed their choices.  Morgan was there, you can ask her too :)

(3)  I may or may not have eaten Five Guys for lunch yesterday.  Oooppss...there goes my eating health kick.  Sometimes you just need a good burger and fries though!

(4)  I am behind on my beloved TV shows.  I fell asleep on Revenge Wednesday night, and didn't get home last night in time to watch Grey's or Private Practice.  Sadly, I feel like a piece of my life is missing until I catch up on them.  Sad...but true!

(5)  I haven't been shopping all year, but I think that is going to change this weekend.  With a tax refund burning a hole in my pocket, I think it's time for a few new staple pieces for work and a new purse!

(6)  Although I think this video is hilarious, the dad went a little overboard.  I mean he paid for the computer.  Why not just take it away from her instead of destroying it?  Sad the lengths some parents take to punish their kids.  Don't get me wrong, the girl deserved to be punished, but he took it to the extreme and then some!

What are you confessing this week?  Link up!
