Inspiration

Isn't God's creation beautiful? Yesterday while I was driving down I-26 headed home to Charleston, I saw this rainbow.  It was quite a moment on inspiration for me.  Over the past few months, my family has endured some pretty rough times.  Even though this weekend was hectic and crazy, I was able to spend time with just about all of my family members.  If you know anything about me, you know that my family means the WORLD to me!  This rainbow was a reminder of the promise that God makes to us.

"I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.  It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud;  and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh;  the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.  The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” {Genesis 9:12-16}

I can rest easy that He will not put us through anything that we cannot handle.  Our patience has been tried and our hearts are heavy, but we refuse to give up hope!  I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.
