Planners

For my birthday this year, I have requested a day planner from my mom.

I haven't owned one since Grad School, and honestly, I miss it.  It was an easy way to keep up with birthdays and events, keep track of bills, and planning for the months ahead.  I realize I have a calendar on my iPhone, but it just isn't quite the same.  I want something that I can physically flip the pages, color coordinate the events, and draw cute little descriptions all over!

So, what is your favorite planner?  Do you always use one in particular?
What do you like most about it?  Include links if you can :)

Amanda, we have been on the same hunt. I use my Gmail calendar, and do enjoy the daily reminders it sends me, but it's just not quite the same as a paper planner. I've been seeing a lot about the Erin Condren life planners. They always get GREAT reviews, are super cute (you pick your own design) and are created for everything you need - weekly budgets, folders for receipts and coupons, to-do lists, weekly and monthly spreadsheets, etc. They are a little pricey ($50) but I just splurged and ordered one this weekend. I actually got the 17 month planner for an extra $5, so it will last through next December. At that point, if I love it, I figure I can ask for one for Christmas every year, lol! Check them out and see what you think:

Oh, and ps: If you do decide you are interested in the Erin Condren planners, let me know and I will give you the $5 off coupon code I used when I ordered mine!

I just wrote a post about the planner I found! I was looking EVERYWHERE for one that I loved and thanks to Etsy, I found it. :)

love this ... I thought I was the only one who was left with an old school planner. I also thought about using my phone, but it's so not the same. I love writing in my planner (yes, I'm a nerd). I also stop breathing if I think I've "misplaced" my planner. :)

I love planners! They make my heart happy! I have used so many different planners over the years, but my favorite would be the Erin Condren planner. It is perfect for keeping you organized, fun, cute, personalized, there are stickers, tabs, pages for notes, and the paper it nice and thick. They are a little pricey, but if you use a planner regularly, it is worth it... at least, I think so! In fact, it will make you use it more than you think you might, just because it's so fun! I know right now they are having a 40% off sale on all their planners (it will go through April to December), so it might be a good way to test it out and see if you like it :)

I hope you find one you like!
