Scenes from the Weekend

My weekend was pretty relaxing and low key!  I was able to spend some time with friends, shop, and cook...and catch a few photos on Instagram.

Friday night was very low key.  We stayed in and I cooked dinner- a new recipe from my Eat Clean diet regime (more to come on that later this week).  Nothing too exciting.

My friend Collins came into town on Saturday, and we were all set to have a beach day until we walked outside.  It was cloudy, wind was chilly, and the weatherman was calling for scattered showers all day.  So instead, we had lunch and spent the rest of the day at a baseball field.  Yup, five GIRLS spent over 7 hours at two different games!

We headed to the College of Charleston vs. Citadel baseball game at 3 PM.  This is a cross town rivalry, so it was a great game!  My friend Collins is an alum of C of C and they asked her to play "Name that Tune" in the middle of the 5th inning.  She got 2 out of 3 right and won 2 free pizzas from Papa John's!

That evening, we headed to watch the local minor league, The Riverdogs.  We scored great (free) tickets right behind home plate.

No zoom...great seats!

We LOVE baseball!

We were having a blast...until the storm clouds rolled in!

Once it started drizzling, we headed for shelter and ultimately decided to leave so we wouldn't get caught in the down pour.

Sunday was very low key.  We went to church and then I ran a few errands with a friend.  For dinner, we decided to have breakfast!  I whipped up a yummy egg frittata (for the first time) and served with salsa and turkey sausage.  It was fantastic!

Spinach and Tomato Frittata

After dinner, I settled down for my Sunday evening shows.  I have watched Army Wives since Season 1 because it is filmed in Charleston, and now I am a new fan of a Lifetime series, The Client List.  The Client List stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and is based on a Lifetime made for TV movie.  If you haven't seen either, you should check them out!

Happy Monday!  Hope your day flies by!
