Although Mother Nature is playing tricks on us with the weather, the first day of Spring is only a mere two weeks away. If you are anything like me, it is a great excuse to de-clutter and get some real cleaning accomplished. It's always nice to "shed" the excess before the heat of the summer arrives. Hubby and I have only been in our townhouse for a little over a year, but it's amazing what two people can accumulate in such a short time period. Closets need to be re-organized, junk drawers need to be purged, and deep cleaning needs to happen ASAP. I've searched my
trusty source for a few tips and tricks to help your spring cleaning process a breeze!
Use a hot glue gun to apply a zig zag pattern on the arms of your plastic hangers to
prevent all your wide-necked shirts from falling off and making a mess in your closet.

This is a great post! I love the idea of hot glue gun on hangers, truly genius :-)
Great tops! I will totally be doing the hot glue thing on my hangers. I HATE that my shirts always fall off when I'm ripping through my closet. I'm a new follower from Carolina Charm :) *xo*

I was just saying to my hubby last night that I couldn't believe how much JUNK we've accumulated in our house since our wedding-- and it's only been 9 months!! Can't wait to start purging stuff and deep cleaning!
Great post! I always wondered how I'm supposed to clean a lampshade! I usually just hit it until the dust falls off. Probably not very effective. :)
