Our Big Day: Bridal Showers and Registry

Today I bring you a recap of all the showers we were given before our wedding, and some of our favorite items from the registry.  We are blessed with amazing friends and family who hosted a number of parties for Bradley and myself.  We were definitely "showered" with everything we wanted and more to start our first home together.  (I apologize in advance for the long post.)

Our first shower was hosted by my sister and her boyfriend.  It was a Gamecock themed
couples shower that featured lawn and garden gifts, along with some Carolina gear.  To keep it interesting, my sister also played a fun couples game with us to see who knew each other the best!

In January of 2011, my aunt hosted a kitchen themed shower for me.  Attendees were to bring all things kitchen from my registry, and we even played a fun few games while I opened the gifts!

Next up was my bachelorette party! My college roomie/best friend hosted the party in
Charlotte, NC for me and my closest friends.  To say we had a blast is an understatement.
Two nights of cruising the town and playing games = one worn out girl!

My aunt and cousin hosted another shower for me in the church social hall in February 2011.
I told you we were blessed with great friends and family!

Last but certainly not least, two of my aunts and two of my cousins hosted a bridal
luncheon for me and my maids.  It was held in my hometown at one of our local restaurants.

Bradley and I decided to register at three different stores to give our guests a wide variety.
We chose Belk, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target since all three are near our hometown.
After several visits to each store and some online registering, we were able to complete
our list before the first shower was held.  Below is a list/link to some of our favorite items.

Formal China- Lenox Solitaire White
Place Setting & Serveware- Lenox Continental

Can you tell we like kitchen accessories the most?

We had a blast celebrating our engagement with all of our friends and family.
We are very grateful for our hostesses and all of the wonderful gifts we received throughout this time!

You were definitely "showered" with such sweet friends and family. Your girls are just as adorable as you! I bet you can't wait to break out all your new stuff for football season! It will be here before you know it!
